Here’s a quick update on drugs dealing crime in your area, please be reassured that we’re taking this seriously and are here to help. Neighbourhood Update from Sgt Aaron Eaglestone
I wanted to provide a quick update regarding our ongoing work to tackle drug dealing and associated anti-social behaviour in the Dalgarno and Golborne wards.
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who continues to report crime and anti-social behaviour to us. The information provided by residents is invaluable and helps us carry out targeted, intelligence-led patrols focused on the issues that matter most to our community.
As part of additional patrols funded to address local priorities, PC Roberts and PC Sukhnandan from the Neighbourhood Policing Teams were conducting proactive patrols around Tavistock Gardens, W11, at approximately 1:00pm on 28 August 2026. During their patrol, they witnessed what appeared to be a drug transaction between two males.
The officers quickly intervened, resulting in the arrest of both individuals. One male was observed carrying out the suspected transaction and was subsequently found in possession of a significant quantity of wraps believed to contain Class A drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine. A second male was arrested for possession offences.
This is an excellent example of proactive neighbourhood policing, with officers taking positive action based on what they encounter while out patrolling our streets.
We are also continuing to work closely with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to address concerns around Tavistock Gardens and the surrounding area. By working together, we can take a coordinated approach to tackling drug-related activity, anti-social behaviour and other issues that affect the quality of life for local residents.
Drug-related crime and anti-social behaviour remain key priorities for the Dalgarno and Golborne Neighbourhood Teams. We will continue to carry out intelligence-led patrols, targeted operations and enforcement activity to disrupt those involved in criminality and to make our neighbourhoods safer for everyone.
